possible:
1. install program without the key, do not enter the key, click next.
2. do not open any of the office programs.
3. delete the product id and product key.
4. edit proof.en with notepad, by changing the last two entries from "alwaysinstalled" to "neverinstalled".
I have never tried the second one, and the first one doesn't seem to work for me. For those who have bought your PC or laptop with the trial already installed in you vista OS computer, the productID key might now show. What worked for me is to install 2007 with a known working ID. When you install that, the productID will thwn show. Either way, it doesn't validate for some reason...But don't be discouraged, apparently iy does work for some people.
EDIT: I have edited the first part and am trying to see if it works now.
